SVD Dragunov

The Finnish Dragunovs were bought from Germany, ex-DDR in the 90´s and are mostly used by some special units, such as the sissi (guerilla) units, border guards, and paratroopers. It is not accurate enough by modern standards to be used as a true sniper rifle, and it was never designed to be used that way. In Finland, and most other armies, it serves mainly as a squad fire support weapon that extends the range of the squad out to 600 meter. As all Kalashnikov designs the Dragunov is very reliable.
