SISU "Masi" and "Rasi"

The all terrain vehicle series or "Masi", from Maasto-SISU (terrain SISU) as it is called and that are used by the Finnish army today was developed in the late 80´s, and is used in different versions, mainly different sizes, a light-, and heavy version is used. The heavy version is usually called Rasi, from Raskas SISU (heavy SISU) while it has been officially designated SA-240/241. The light version is designated SA-150/130. Whilst the light version is used to transport troops and transport light field guns, mortars and so forth, the heavy version is used to tow heavy field guns in particular. The Masi´s can also easily be used as a weapon platform by 23 ItK 61/95 anti-aircraft cannon teams, and while on the move they can provide air cover to the troops if attacked. Rasis are used as a heavy surface to surface missile platform by the navys coastal troops.
